I think a history would be great (of course I already know most of it, but still...)

It's in a .app file. Unfortunetly Windows can't read those .app files as an iPhone/iPod application.
I can only read .ipa files. And also the provisioning profile is 'invalid' according to the iPhone Configuration Utility.

Have you tried dragging the files to your iTunes App library? What was the error?

Sorry about that. We didn't anticipate that some will be using Windows to install the BETA. We'll see if we can create a separate IPA file for you.

The .app file will show up as a folder, because that's what it is. Just have iTunes open to your Apps page, then open up WIndows Explorer so that you can see both applications. Drag the .app folder from Windows Explorer to the Apps page on iTunes. It will work just fine (I know, because I do it all the time).

I also use windows and it works fine. It's supposed to be a file folder. Just drag to your iTunes library and you'll see iTunes processing the app.
